About us Aleris Rehab Station is a national and international rehabilitation center. We assist patients with acquired and congenital spinal cord injuries, orthopedic injuries, and neurological injuries and diseases. We also offer personal assistance. We are located in a large, beautiful building in Frösundavik in Solna, a combination of old barracks, new living rooms, treatment rooms, and a restaurant. We have extensive research and educational activities and a well-developed teamwork. We also have a clinic focused on MS in Liljeholmen. Aleris Rehab Station is part of Aleris Närsjukvård, which also includes ASIH, two specialized palliative care departments, Basic home care, and Uppsala Närakut.
The Role We are looking for a personal assistant for a man in his 50s who is in a wheelchair. As a personal assistant, your duties will include supporting and helping him partially with his daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, transfers, cleaning, and accompanying him to various activities. The client speaks for himself and lives with his teenage daughter and a cat. As an assistant, you need to be able to be nearby while also being able to step back to give space for private life. Working hours will be during the day, 4 days a week. No evenings, nights, or weekends are applicable.

About You We are looking for someone who is structured, organized, loyal, and attentive. You also care about providing good care and service with high quality. Through your commitment, professional approach, and communicative ability, you create good relationships with the client and your colleagues, making you a significant employee for us. It is important that you act with common sense and have a strong customer focus. You need to have a well-developed sense of intuition and understand when to be active and when to be passive in your work. You need to communicate clearly and be unpretentious in putting the client's needs/space first, as well as being able to manage a family with everyday tasks. Experience in the assistance profession is an advantage.
Background You are a person with a strong interest in working with people. This role requires previous experience working as a personal assistant and/or in care and support. A requirement for this position is that you master the Swedish language in both spoken and written form very well.
Employment Conditions Employment type: Hourly employment/ Fixed schedule. Scope: Part-time, 8-13, 4 days/week. Start date: January 2026 Salary: Individual salary setting Collective agreement exists
